The Society for the Development of Cantabria (SODERCAN) has announced a CALL FOR AID FOR THE SELF-EMPLOYED AND MICRO-BUSINESSES, aimed at helping cope with the economic impact of the declared State of Alarm.
The recipients of this aid are the self-employed and micro-businesses of Cantabria that have had to close their doors as a result of Royal Decree 463/2020.
The amount of the aid will be paid fortnightly and will depend on the number of employees. Individual self-employed workers and micro-businesses with a single worker will receive 150 euros per week. If they have between 2 and 5 workers, the amount will be 225 euros per week, and for those with between 6 and 9 workers, the amount will be 300 euros per week.
Businesses will be required to maintain their activity and employment for a period of 6 months from the end of the State of Alarm. Businesses subject to a temporary redundancy scheme (ERTE) that can prove it ended once that state was over are deemed to meet this requirement.
