The latest extension of the state of alarm, approved by the Congress of Deputies (published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of 23 May), provides for the RESUMPTION OF ADMINISTRATIVE DEADLINES AND THE LIFTING OF THE SUSPENSION OF PROCEDURAL DEADLINES.
Administrative Deadlines (Administrative Proceedings)
- They will resume on 1 June.
- The third additional provision of Royal Decree 463/2020, which declared the state of alarm, is repealed, so that from 14 March the administrative deadlines that had been suspended resume.
Procedural Deadlines (Judicial Proceedings)
- Their calculation will restart on 4 June, from the beginning (in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree-Law 16/2020 of 28 April, published in the Official State Gazette of 29 April, adopting procedural and organisational measures to address COVID-19).
- The second and fourth additional provisions of Royal Decree 463/2020 are repealed.
- The days from 11 to 31 August 2020 are declared working days for all judicial proceedings.
