Revolving cards, an interest trap
Revolving cards are marketed as convenient credit: you pay a fixed instalment each month. But their interest rate (APR) is extremely high —often between 20% and 27%—, so most of what you pay goes towards interest and the debt barely goes down. The result is a debt that seems never to end.
If this has happened to you, you are not alone and, above all, you have options. At BBM Abogados, a firm in Santander since 1990, we review your contract and file a claim to recover what you have overpaid.
What can you recover?
If the card is declared void for usury, the effect is decisive: you would only have to repay the principal actually lent. Everything you have paid on top of that —interest, fees and other charges— must be refunded to you by the institution. In many cases we are talking about several thousand euros.
Why BBM Abogados?
Since 1990 we have been defending consumers against the banks in Santander and Cantabria, with a personal approach and complete transparency. We explain your case without jargon and without false promises. If you have a revolving card, tell us about your case with no obligation and we will assess it.
